We were the pioneer premium gadget lifestyle store in Malaysia with over 25 years of industry experience. Flash Gadgets now carries all major brands for gadget-related products, ranging from headphones, drones, fitness wearables, games, to speakers and phone accessories. Today, we have a total of 3 outlets in major malls (with another opening soon), and is expanding every year to cover all major towns and cities.

 

Our first store in KL nurtured a community of gadgets enthusiast individuals who shared a passion within this ever-evolving industry. Since then, Flash Gadgets have inspired and led many locals and technophile to curate blend of premium gadgets.

As a Social Media Digital Marketing Intern, you’ll play a vital part in the day-to-day execution of our brand’s online presence, working closely with the Marketing director to deliver creative, engaging, and timely content across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the start of their digital marketing journey to hone their skills in a fast-paced, results-driven environment and make a measurable impact on one of Malaysia’s most exciting retail brands.You’ll get hands-on experience crafting social campaigns, analysing engagement, and collaborating with a supportive team that values fresh ideas and innovation. If you’re passionate about social media, eager to learn, and ready to help shape the next chapter of our story, we’d love to meet you!

What you'll be doing:

  • Create and schedule content for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook (posts, stories, videos)
  • Help manage our online community by replying to comments and messages
  • Support marketing campaigns and contests, including basic design work (Canva)
  • Track social media performance and spot trends
  • Join brainstorming sessions and suggest creative ideas

Who we're looking for:

  • Wanting to experience managing or creating content for social media (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, or similar platforms), ideally within eCommerce, retail, or lifestyle brands.
  • Willingness to learn and familiarise with social media management tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, Buffer, Hootsuite). 
    Creative thinker who understands trends, memes, and what makes content engaging and shareable.
  • Proactive and independent: someone who takes initiative, seeks out opportunities, and gets things done without waiting to be told.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple posts, campaigns, and deadlines.
  • Comfortable interpreting basic analytics (e.g., likes, shares, reach, engagement rates) and using insights to improve content.
  • Bonus if you have basic design skills (Canva, Photoshop), video editing, or photography experience—but not essential.
  • Also bonus if you are genuinely passionate for gadgets, digital marketing, and connecting with online communities.
